Networking and Information Chat - Tuesday’s until the Expo

We will be having a Business and Learning Work At Home Expo Networking and Informational Chat every Tuesday until the Expo (October 17, 25 and 31) from 8pm EST until 9pm EST. Yes that means there are only 3 weeks until the Expo - time flies when you are having fun! I will post the details of where this event will take place later this week.
Please attend these events, put it in your calendar, invite anyone you know that might be interested in the Expo.
This will be your chance to become familiar with the conference room we will be using. It will aso be a chance to meet other affiliates, exhibitors and sponsors! You can also get some marketing ideas and support.
We’ve got a GREAT list of featured speakers on the home page - www.businessandlearning.com - which has undergone a few updates recently. Be sure to check out the site.

Promoting Events as an Affiliate

Alice Seba is having an affiliate marketing training call next week. It is a call that she is preparing for Womens Power Summit affiliates, but we thought you could benefit from the information.
There is no charge for the call, but you are responsible for any long distance fees you may incur.
Topic: Promoting Events as an Affiliate
“It can be a challenge to get people involved in an event, whether it’s online or offline…but if you hit your target audience in just the right way, it’s easier to get them excited about attending. This information will be useful for promoting teleseminars, expos and offline seminars.”
This information will be useful for event affiliates and even people who are putting together their own events. She will be discussing the following topics on the call:
- What to look out for in an event affiliate program and how to make the most of our efforts.
- How to get more of your readers to sign up for f r e e teleseminars.
- How to get your readers to create a buzz for you.
- How to get people to open their wallets to attend the event.
…and more. She will be opening up the call to questions related to promoting events.

Also, could each of you please pick an available spot on the calendar here - www.freelanceva.com/expocalendar.html — the Feature Speakers spots are for our Featured Speakers so please pick a spot that is marked available and is not a Feature Speaker spot and email me your first and second choice for a time just in case we have people emailing at the same time requesting the same time slot.
We will have some web updates by Monday at which time we will ask all of you to fill in the Exhibitor Form including areas for uploading your images and contact information that will be posted on the Business and Learning WAH Expo.
